Being strategically located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, our geographical focus in on the South East Asian region, but with primary focus in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Indochina.
Our presence in the region, combined with a strong network of business and regulatory relationships, provides us with an advantage in sourcing for good investment opportunities.

Sovine Goh:
Director
Ms. Sovine Goh is the Founder of So Ventures Sdn Bhd and General Partner of a licensed private equity fund. She specializes in equity, fundraising, capital strategy, and business exit advisory for SMEs and high-growth companies. Sovine also integrates wealth flow simulation and NLP techniques into her coaching and advisory services.
With years of experience in the capital market, Sovine has been actively involved in M&A and IPO-related deals. She has built a strong network within investor circles and high-growth business communities.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Portfolio Management from Skills Recognition International Australia (SRI AUS), and is a certified NLP Practitioner and HRD Corp registered trainer.
Norida Mohamed Shah
Director
Norida Mohamed Shah holds a Bachelor and Masters of Commerce degree from Curtin University of Technology. She has a total of 10 years of working in 2 of the largest investment banks in Malaysia, ie CIMB Investment Bank and RHB Investment Bank; starting off her career with CIMB Investment Bank. Her experience in the investment banks spans across corporate finance, corporate banking, and origination and client coverage. Norida was involved with major corporate transactions in M&A, syndicated loan, fund raising, privatisation, amongst others. After RHB Investment Bank, she moved on advisory specialising in corporate advisory and fund raising. Her portfolio of clients include public listed companies, GLCs, state economic development corporation, sovereign wealth fund and private companies.
Norida is currently heading the Strategic Business Development of SME Aerospace Sdn Bhd, an aerospace manufacturing company
Seow Chin Hui
Director
Chin Hui an Associate Director with Access PE, he holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting from Queen’s University of Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
He has 14 years of investment banking working experience in the corporate finance sector where he has overseen various projects comprising initial public offering exercises, reverse take-overs, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, fund raising and other related corporate exercises. His last position in investment banking was as Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance in one of Malaysia’s top Investment Bank.
Eddie Ng:
Director
Eddie began his career in financial advisory and capital markets, with extensive experience in SME financing, alternative lending, private credit, fundraising advisory, and venture-related initiatives through his involvement in IWealth Capital Sdn Bhd, Pi Capital Sdn Bhd, Dinamik Ilusi Sdn Bhd, PI IAM Sdn Bhd, and VPI Secured Capital Fund. His work focuses on bridging businesses with funding solutions, capital structuring, private debt strategies, and growth opportunities across the SME and mid-market ecosystem. Prior to the financial industry, Eddie also spent close to a decade with multinational pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Merck & Co., where he developed strong commercial, operational, and stakeholder management experience across highly regulated industries.
John Ong
Partner
Mr. Ong is a Co-founder and Partner of Access PE. He started his career as a trainee chartered accountant in London. He was involved in the audit, management accounting and taxation affairs of companies in the United Kingdom. He returned to Malaysia and joined a local investment bank where he was involved in IPOs, bonds, M&A, corporate finance, corporate restructuring and mezzanine financing. He left the investment bank in 2000 and started his own corporate advisory practice.
Mr Ong holds an Honors Degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
